Trick or Treat Card for PTI MIM #179
Laura Bassen demonstrated a very cool technique that stretches those dies even more in this week's Make it Monday #179: Emboss Resist Using Diecuts. I just got some PTI halloween goodies so I decide to try this technique with the Text Block: Halloween die.
Here's my card:
I used Distress Inks with a blending tool on the panel after embossing it.
Here's a detail shot that shows the sparkle created with Calico Shine mist that I spritzed the panel with and that cute little bat.
Thanks for checking out my card today!
Ingredients: PTI Text Block:Halloween, Happy Spooky Halloween; MFT Blueprints #11 (panel)

W&W + SSS Share the Love Week - Day 4 Card
Time for more crafty goodness for Share the Love Week. Day 4 of the Winnie & Walter Share the Love Week featuring Simon Says Stamp is to create a One Layer card.
I used the negative of a die cut from my Day 3 card to create my one layer card.
Thanks for checking out my card!
Ingredients: W&W The Big, the Bold & the Happy, Scenery: Big Bang Confetti; SSS Big Thanks die

W&W + SSS - Share the Love Week - Day 3 card
The Day 3 Challenge for the Winnie & Walter Share the Love Week featuring Simon Says Stamp is to Use One Stamp.
My card literaly features one stamp (and one die). I went super simple but super cute if I must say so!
I did a water color technique using my distress inks and a large acrylic block on some water color paper and then I used the die cut sentiment for this card and the negative for another (see my Day 4 card).

Winnie & Walter + Simon Says Stamp Share the Love Week - Day 2 card
The Day 2 Challenge for W&W Share the Love week was a 10 minute dash!
I gathered my supplies before I started and then set the time -- what took the longest was taping down my stencil! I should have done that ahead of time! None the less I got it done with time to spare.
Pic shows time left on the timer (sorry for the lighting - it was dark out when I made the card):
