Thank You cards

I made some Thank You cards recently.  I like to keep them pretty simple but fun.  Here they are:

When I saw Lawn Fawn had a stamp set with a take out box and fortune cookie I squealed with delight!!!!!  I have an unhealthy obsession with take out boxes so this was a must have!!!

Ingredients: Lawn Fawn Good Fortune, PTI Simple Sentiments, PTI Bitty Dot paper, Basic Grey Picadilly paper

On to the next one:

Ingredients: PTI Library Card, Flower Fusion #10, Fillable Frames #6, Distressed Dots pattern paper

Next......

I simple adore Avery Elle's Framed Fonts stamp set!

Ingredients: Avery Elle Framed Fonts, PTI Mehndi Medallion

And here is the last one.....

As you can see I love mixing stamps from different stamp companies! This one uses Mama Elephant's Modern Borders - such a fun set!

Ingredients: Mama Elephant Modern Borders, PTI Think Big Fav #1

My card for the Festive Friday Challenge #11

The latest Festive Friday challenge is an element challenge - a tree. Love this challenge!

I tried out a technique that I've been wanting to use for a while - cutting a die cut from a panel and popping the panel up and layering pattern paper through the die cut space.  I love how it turned out:

I used PTI's soft stone card stock for both the panel and the card base. I also used PTI's In the Meadow dies (tree), Wonderful Words: Holiday, red felt (for "Merry"), some gems and Doodlebug's North Pole pattern papers. I also use some Mr. Huey's Calico Shine spray on the tree background to give some sparkle.

Father's Day mini gift bag

Hi all! I wanted to share a recent project with you. I get minor league baseball tickets every year for my dad for Father's Day. The tricky part is packaging them in a creative way.  Last year I did this:

It's a re-purposed PTI stamp box (which are also great for small card sets).

So this is what I came up with this year:

I used a large glassine bag the PTI sells, PTI's 7th Inning Stretch and Have a Ball stamp sets, My Thought Exactly's Father's Day Subway Art ("Dad" stamp) and MFT's Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax

Festive Friday Challenge #10

I am so glad I found the Festive Friday challenge blog - I am getting a nice head start on holiday cards that I usually cram in at the last minute - but not this time!!!  Anyway here's the challenge:

I LOVE the vintage look for holiday cards - it's so nostalgic! Here's what I came up with:

I keep the design elements relatively flat so mailing wouldn't be an issue.

Ingredients: PTI - Winter Cheer (tree), Snowflake Medley, Peaceful Pinecones (sentiment); Double Ended Banners, In the Meadow (drifts) and Rustic White card stock ; Basic Gray Aspen Frost papers
