More holiday cards to share!

Today's pic-heavy post is of cards I haven't shared yet.  Please enjoy! Happy New Year!

Ingredients: Paper Smooches Santa Paws, Christmas Sampler, Swanky Snowdudes; PTI Fabulous Frames

The silver snowflakes are created using a stencil and Faber Castell Texture Luxe. The design was inspired by techniques learned from Online Card Classes' Holiday Style class I recently took.
Ingredients: MFT Grand Greetings; Echo Park Paper Snowflakes #1 Stencil

One of my fav cards!
Ingredients: WPlus9 Woodland Wreaths; MFT Joy Photo Card Frame; Hampton Arts deer stamp; Reverse Confetti Carton Cuties (bow tie)

Ingredients: Studio Calico Cool Yule, Very Merry; MFT Layered Treat Tag

Another fav card - this card was inspired by Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday #234 Embellish with Felt. I didn't get a chance to submit it but still wanted to share this cool card. I bought 2 packs of clear card stock by accident so I decided to make a clear card. The red is foil card stock and "peace" is cut from PTI's hawaiian shores felt. Simple but elegant!
Ingredients: PTI Shaker Shapes Ornament, Wet Paint Holiday

Another fun/fav card! I created a stencil using the deer head die and used Ferro Iron "texture paste". It has a bit of a sparkle to it and a subtle rough texture. Awesome stuff for guy cards!!!!
Ingredients: MFT Joy Photo Card Frame; Hampton Arts Deer die

Bonus pic -- cute little treat bags I made for co-workers:

These little bags and doilies are from Doodlebug. I added some cute PTI and Reverse Confetti die cuts to finish them off.
Ingredients: Reverse Confetti Branch Out, Winter Words; PTI Wet Paint Holiday, Wet Paint Holiday Tags

Thanks for visiting me in 2015!!!

Masculine Christmas Card

I still have a couple more holiday cards to share and they'll be posted today.

If I hadn't said it before, I love the deer trend! I love it for masculine cards! My card today is being submitted to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog - Make it Sparkle. Sparkle doesn't usually happen with guy cards, but I made it masculine using metallic card stock with a graphic design.

Here it is:

Merry & Bright Stag card

Back again with another card today! I LOVE the stag/deer trend and make quite a few cards using an unnamed stamp/die set by Hampton Arts I found at Michael's. Today's card is a more modern/graphic take on the winter wonderland theme for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog - Winter Wonderland.

The pic doesn't show it but the deer is cut from red textured foil cardstock and the snow and scribbled circle are stamped with silver ink.

Merry Christmas card for SSS Monday Challenge

Belated holiday wishes! I'm getting caught up on some postings of my holiday cards this weekend - my card today is being submitted to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog - Winter Wonderland theme.

Sorry for the crappy pic - we have been having rainy/gray (but warm) weather for weeks, so I haven't had any natural light to get good pics.  With our record-breaking warm weather these days,  the only thing winter-like around here are my cards!

Holiday Greetings card

OK one more card today! I adore the snow globe look with Mason or Ball jars you see on Pinterest and I've seen some cards recreating this look and that's my inspiration for today's card.  I'm submitting this card to the Simon Say Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Die Crazy.

Here's my card:

I love to mix and match stamps and dies from different companies and this card is no exception!

Sending Holiday Cheer

Another post, another card! I've been busy! Glitter and the holidays go hand in hand and I love to add a little sparkle to my cards. Today's card is for Virginia's View Challenge #21 - All About Glitter.

Besides the glittery snowflake paper for the ground, I added some Stickles to the roof to create that frosty snow effect. House is colored in with my Bic Mark-It markers.

It's an Otter Christmas Card

My sister adores otters and when Lawn Fawn came out with Year Five featuring a super cute otter I knew I had to have it for her cards. I featured this little otter on her birthday card and I knew this little guy would be on her Christmas card too! And when I finally got Lawn Fawn's Ready, Set, Snow, I knew I'd be mixing these sets together for a cute card!

Check it out:

Joy Christmas Shaker Card

My Christmas cards are coming along and I finally ventured into making a shaker card!!! I think it turned out ok - maybe a little too much shaker elements but it still works.  My card today is being submitted to WPlus9's Challenge: Throwback Thursdays #9.

I adore this stamp set! Here's the card I made featuring the santa and tree images:

Here's a detailed pic of the shaker:

The shaker has sequins, some mica flakes and these tiny clear beads I've had.  I stamped the images with Versamark ink to give a little definition of the image. For the card base I used SnowTex with a falling snow stencil. I like the chunky rough texture this gives and opacity versus using an embossing paste.
