Easter cards and treat sacks

This week I made my Easter cards and some very simple little treats sacks.  I'm submitting these to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes. Warning photo heavy post!

I decided the made 3 cards using the same design - I don't do that often but coming up with several designs for Easter cards are hard for me for some reason. I might just be in a slump!

 For my card "B" is for Bird!

I love these Songbird dies - I have used them a lot! I used watercolor pencils to create my background - in 2 ways. One by pulling the color from the pencil with a wet brush and two by flicking the wet brush on the tip of the pencil. It created those cool flecks!

I don't use my watercolor pencils very often but this flecking technique is so fun I will have to break out the pencils more!
