Masculine B-Day Card
It's time for another Papertrey Ink Make it Monday. This week it's Make it Monday #239: Customizing Patterned Paper. Lizzie Jones showed us that it's easy to jazz up all that patterned paper we hoard. I went with a masculine take.
Here's my card:
I took some newspaper patterned paper and stamped over it with one of the woodgrain stamps from Background Basics: Woodgrain and then finished off the card with some die cut greetings!
Thanks for visiting!
Ingredients: PTI BB: Woodgrain, Wet Paint, Birthday Style

Thank You card for PTI Anniversary Festivities!
I have another card for one of the challenges being issued by Papertrey Ink during their 9th Anniversary Celebration. Today's challenge is the Paper Crafting Alphabet Challenge. Using at least 3 letters in my first or last name and following the key below, I came up with my card recipe!
I used L, I, and Z so my card features NO inking - dies only, with my sentiment on an angle and I used an impression plate. Here is my card:
I went with soft stone for the card base and panel - love this neutral!

Let's Party - It's PTI's 9th Birthday/Anniversary!
Papertrey Ink is turning 9!!!! I discovered PTI during their first year in business - I was fairly new to card making/stamping, was curious about clear stamps and stumbled upon them. Glad I did! I've loved their products - so many different styles of stamps, dies (yes!), awesome card stock and amazing designers! Although the stamping world has increased ten-fold since PTI emerged and I've discovered so many amazing stamp companies, PTI will always have my heart and be #1. OK enough gushing! Happy Anniversary PTI - I have loved watching you grow!!!!
Today I have a card for the first challenge presented during the birthday festivities! I love to be inspired by color combos - things I'd never think of on my own. Today's challenge is to pick a color combo and create a project. Here's the combo I picked:
Here's my card:
I adore this die and hadn't used it yet so I broke it out to create a colorful birthday card!
The frame portion of the die is cut from white card stock to stand out against the soft stone base. I added some Wink of Stella to the balloons - here's detail pic - hope you can see it a bit.
Here is the inside of my card:
Thanks so much for visiting!

Ombre Love card
It's time for a Papertrey Ink Make it Monday challenge! Challenge #238 is Valentine Ombre Stamping with Melissa!
Melissa used Gelatos but I had to go with inks since I only have one pink Gelato (not even one red shade!).
Here is my card:
I created the ombre look with Scribbled Circles die cuts. My card base is stone gray - I love it with the pinks!
