SSS Christmas Card Challenge!

I have a card today for the Simon Says Stamp Christmas Card Challenge!

Here is my card! I will also have another post with all my christmas cards I made this year!

This card uses a technique the great Jennifer McGuire had on her blog: alcohol ink (on watercolor paper) with emboss resist. You can find it here. I used a snowflake stencil for my embossed image. I love how this came out!

Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop!

I made an alcohol ink background and cut it out with Bold Borders: Fall Foliage to mirror the leaves on the table. So pretty!

Card for Altenew Watercolor Class (Day 2)

I'm trying to hone my watercoloring skills for my cards and am taking Altenew Academy's Watercolor Basics and Beyond class. I love their classes - very inexpensive (added bonus) but full of great info and techniques. I have made a card using the techniques from Day 2 - Watercolor Wash - using a stencil - love this! It really came out nicely.

I just got some Arches watercolor paper - both hot and cold press. This card uses the hot press paper - very smooth. The background has a rainbow vibe to it - a happy accident!

Floral Frenzy Challenge Card

My card today is being submitted to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog. The challenge theme is Floral Frenzy featuring Altenew products - YAY!

The flowers are colored with Prismacolor pencils and I created the frame with Spellbinders nesting dies.

PTI No Stamps - All Dies Card Challenge

It's Papertrey Ink's 11th Anniversary! YAY! To celebrate they've had tons of inspiration and challenges along the way. My cards for today are for the Use Only Dies - No Stamps! Challenge. With so many amazing dies, this was a fun and easy challenge. I made some valentine cards using some Yupo paper I just got with alcohol inks. So fun to use!

The hearts are cut from 1 sheet of Yupo that I put about 4 colors on plus some pearl fixative. The word dies are die cut from flocked black paper and on the base of my cards, I sprayed some Perfect Pearls through a stencil.
