Bitty Bird Birthday Card

It's the beginning of birthday season in my family (there's at least one birthday every month until October -except for September) so I'll be making plenty of birthday cards! This one is for my sister - she's a big nature lover and PTI's Bitty Birds/Additions is perfect for her!

Card for CASology Week #40

This week's challenge is to feature a word on the card - I love the simplicity of this!!!

Here's my take:

I used Verve's Make a Statement set (and frame die) with some Basic Grey paper for the frame.  I can never have enough thank you cards!

Card for Festive Friday Retro Challenge

I got an early start on holiday cards and made this one layer CAS retro themed card for this week's challenge:

The card features Gelatins' Big Retro Flakes and a PTI sentiment.  It's also really hard to see (it was cloudy today when I took the pic) but I added some Studio Calico's Calico Shine for a little sparkle.

My card for Seize the Birthday #13

I am so glad I found Seize the Birthday. It's such a great challenge site for birthday card making.  Here's my card for this challenge - a masculine card using the sketch provided. I also used my pattern paper skills from the recent online card class I took at Online Card Classes. I highly recommend the Pattern Play class if you struggle with using those lovely patterned papers we all hoard!  On to my card:

I used Avery Elle's Framed Fonts and Mama Elephant's Modern Borders along with some Basic Grey and Simple Stories pattern papers.

I love this "collage elements" concept that Dawn McVey showed us for Make It Monday! After a few practice combos this is what I finally came up with - I can't wait to make more!
