My card for the Festive Friday Challenge #11

The latest Festive Friday challenge is an element challenge - a tree. Love this challenge!

I tried out a technique that I've been wanting to use for a while - cutting a die cut from a panel and popping the panel up and layering pattern paper through the die cut space.  I love how it turned out:

I used PTI's soft stone card stock for both the panel and the card base. I also used PTI's In the Meadow dies (tree), Wonderful Words: Holiday, red felt (for "Merry"), some gems and Doodlebug's North Pole pattern papers. I also use some Mr. Huey's Calico Shine spray on the tree background to give some sparkle.
