Floral Stenciled Card

Back again with a fun card for 2 challenges: the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Stencil It and STAMPlorations' CASEplorations January challenge. I'm also submitting this card to the STAMPlorations Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge!

 This is the inspiration for the CASEplorations challenge - we get to case Lauren Bassen! I love her!


Although I do have this leaf stencil, I went with the Happy Flowers stencil to use with my colored embossing paste. I love the colors she used and went with similar ones.

 Here's my card:


I went more one layer and simple, forgoing the thread and gem accents and minimizing the use of black text that was more prominent in Lauren's card.

    Totally captivating! The blooms look wonderful with the ombre paste and that lovely die cut makes it all so pretty instead of grungy. Very nicely done. Thanks for gracing our gallery at CASEplorations with your card.
